•THE ANTIQUE MARVELS OF THE OLD THRESHERS REUNION: STEAM TRACTION ENGINES Steam traction engines played a major role in the advancement of technology on the American farm during the mid-1800s and early twentieth century.  The use of steam to provide power on the American farm helped in the transition between horse power and later gas powered engines and tractors.  The steam traction engine allowed the American farmer to plow, thresh, and harvest the American farmland in a more efficient manner.  Additionally, the steam traction engine provided needed power for saw mills, balers, road graders and for means of a portable power source.  In all, there were well over 30 companies manufacturing steam traction engines, each with unique designs but all with the same purpose, to make life more productive for the American farmer.This program shows the many different types of steam traction engines which are on display at the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion.  In this program, you can learn now a steam engine operates, watch a spark show, a steam engine pull and learn from the engineers.  Examples of how steam power was used on the American farm are demonstrated, such as threshing, running saw and sorghum mills, baling, running veneer and shingle mills and many other activities undertaken by the steam traction engine. THE HISTORY OF FARMING AS PRESERVED AND DEMONSTRATED AT THE MIDWEST OLD THRESHERS REUNION   The Midwest Old Threshers Reunion is first and foremost an event which preserves the history of American agriculture.  This program shows the many events and displays which illustrate the history of American farming.  Activities such as steam and tractor threshing, plowing, saw mills, the role of women on the farm, the implementation of electricity and so many other displays and activities are highlighted in the program. • THE HISTORY OF OLD THRESHERS VOLUME II.  During the time period of 1989 to 2010, the Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Reunion has grown with the addition of a steam-powered carousel and carousel pavilion, added interpretive exhibits such as the recently completed Steam Traction Engine display, restored buildings in the Log Village, the addition of the Wright Family Pavilion, record-numbers of antique tractor exhibitors and many new activities such as the "Drive a Tractor" exhibit. This DVD is volume two of the History of the Midwest Old Settlers and Threshers Reunion and is the updated companion to the earlier DVD.  (Running Time: 55 minutes-2010)

• STORIES, FOLKLORE, FACTS, YARNS, ANECDOTES, MYTHS AND OTHER TALL TALES OF THE MIDWEST OLD THRESHERS REUNION.  - This program presents some of the tales, myths, anecdotes, and humorous stories about the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion as told by those who attend the reunion.  What pranks are played by those who operate equipment at the reunion?  What is the real attendance of the Old Threshers reunion?  Is it true that alcohol is not allowed at the Reunion?  Many interesting and sometimes questionable facts are presented.  (70 minutes - 1996) 

• THE STEAM TRACTION ENGINES, PT. 1.  Over 100 steam traction engines are on display and in operation at the Reunion.  This program features stories and memories from steam engine operators.  (58 minutes - 1987)

• THE STEAM TRACTION ENGINES, PT. 2 This tape provides a brief history and description of the many types of steam traction engines which are operating and on display.  Engines are shown performing many tasks, such as running saw mills, threshing, baling, running a veneer mill, and much more. • THE STATIONARY ENGINE POWERHOUSE OF THE MIDWEST OLD SETTLERS AND THRESHERS REUNION. The Stationary Steam exhibits at the Old Threshers Reunion are quickly becoming one of the major attractions. This program gives a view of the exhibits including an explanation of the many types and uses these engines played in the development of power sources throughout the United States. • THE ANTIQUE TRACTORS OF THE MIDWEST OLD THRESHERS REUNION, PT. 2   Take a stroll down the aisles of the fastest-growing exhibit area at the Old Threshers Reunion, the antique tractor area. Learn interesting facts about these unique tractors and watch your favorite tractor at the saw mill, plowing, baling, threshing, and running the veneer mill or baker fan.  In addition, this tape shows the tractors participating in the very popular antique tractor pull. • HORSE POWER AT THE REUNION. - Horses have provided power for farm operations for many years.  This tape shows many beautiful horses as they perform the tasks that have been required of them throughout the years including threshing, baling, powering the sorghum mill and plowing and many other activities. This program provides a detailed look at the many activities and events which occur at the Log Village on the Old Threshers grounds. • ANTIQUE CARS OF THE MIDWEST OLD SETTLERS AND THRESHERS REUNION. - This program presents a view of the many antique cars on display at the Reunion.  Enjoy the beauty of the cars as they parade in the Cavalcade of Power and are displayed in the antique car and truck building.  An added feature of this tape, is a Model T being assembled from scratch in less than 18 minutes.  (60 minutes-1991)
